HAVE + HOLD

Shane Darwent, Sophie Eisner, Loren Erdrich,
Margaret Hull, Ellie Krakow, Kasper Ray O’Brien,
and Margo Wolowiec – Curated by Butter Projects

JULY 14 – AUGUST 26, 2017

Wasserman Projects is pleased to announce an ongoing series of curatorial collaborations with Butter Projects, which was founded in 2009 by WP Director, Alison Wong and her partner, John Charnota. Have+Hold is the first collaborative effort in which Wasserman Projects will open its arms for Butter Projects to extend its curatorial efforts. This inaugural exhibition will be presented in the main galleries at Wasserman Projects.

Wong and Charnota have brought together seven artists working in a range of disciplines that examine physical environments and objects as well as the interpersonal relationships that shape our day-to-day lives and experiences. The exhibition features figurative works with outstretched and intertwined limbs, formal abstractions that protrude and extend into space, video and installation that engage and consider our social dynamics. Have+Hold welcomes you to join in celebrating the marriage of spaces and concepts with artists Shane Darwent, Sophie Eisner, Loren Erdrich, Margaret Hull, Ellie Krakow, Kasper Ray O’Brien and Margo Wolowiec.
