Since 1949, Felice Pazner Malkin has been living and working in Israel. Her upcoming exhibition at Wasserman Projects includes drawings, paintings, and prints spanning nearly 60 years of her artistic career. The selection focuses on Felice’s body of self portraiture and other figurative works that not only depict the features of her subjects but draw out their essence and the emotional connection we have with one another. Felice’s dedication to this practice was previously celebrated in Detroit with her exhibition “Jewish Figurative Art” at the Center for Secular Humanist Judaism in 1996.
