JANUARY 15 – 30, 2016

Wasserman Projects is pleased to present Michael Scoggins, with a short run solo exhibition to break the winter blues. Reminiscent of a page pulled from our youth – complete with blue lines, tattered and torn from its spiral bound edge, the work speaks to the influence American culture has had on the artist and how it shaped his life. Created in the style of adolescent notes and doodles, the everyday notepage is elevated to a monumental scale giving it a grand sense of importance that matches the deeper narrative layered amongst text and imagery drawn on the page.

Also on view: selection of works from Wasserman Projects artists including Christer Karlstad, Mengli Qi, Lauren Satlowski, Koen Vanmechelen, and more.
