Wasserman Projects is pleased to present our Winter 2023 Exhibition “Objects of Affection”, featuring work by Josh Dihle (Chicago, IL), Reuven Israel (Brooklyn, NY) and Elspeth Schulze (Tulsa, OK). As we are all starting the year with a renewed outlook on what’s to come, for these three artists this rings true each and every day. As parents, these three artists are influenced by seeing the world through their young children’s eyes, and finding balance between the greatest responsibility and the greatest joy. The works in “Objects of Affection celebrate a sense of play – From Dihle’s enticing textures of found objects embedded in wood, to Israel’s candy coated sculptural forms, as well as Schulze’s bright palettes in her mixed media cut paper works.
